• Your primary responsibility will be the mechanical design and packaging of AHV products. This will include but is not limited to: participating in design review meetings to help conceptualize the product, interfacing with customers to assure proper fit and compliance with all requirements. You will use various CAD/CAE/CAM tools to ensure customer specs are met and to allow efficient manufacturing.
• You will collaborate closely with the electrical, manufacturing and quality engineers to design products that meet stringent design criteria.
• You will create design documentation in the form of 2D/3D detailed parts and full assembly drawings, BOMs and specifications of new parts and processes.

• A Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Understanding of design requirements for high density electronic packaging and electronic assemblies using AutoCAD, Inventor or similar software such as SolidWorks or Fusion 360.
• Strong working knowledge and understanding of electro-mechanical and interconnect components is required.
• Broad knowledge of mechanical housing fabrication processes such as sheet metal, welding and mechanical fastener systems is required. Experience with casting and plastic molding is a plus.
• Experience with mechanical and thermal management systems using FEA software such as Ansys is a plus.
• Profficiency in written and verbal communication in English.
• Willingness to work with global customers across several time zones.
• Openness to ask questions, make suggestions, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to travel internationally.
